Ignore the lack of English subtitles and enjoy the action in this trailer. Film is quickly edited and visually pleasing from the simple personal hideaway scenes, to larger hijack and machine gun attacks.
Red Army Faction(RAF) - German left-wing terrorist organization founded by Ulrike Meinhof and Andreas Baader during the Vietnam war in their opposition to alleged US imperialism and German fascism.
I often felt lost due to how quickly the scenes transitioned and characters were being introduced and disposed of. But then again, this is over ten years of history being crammed into a two and a half hour film.
Though it may overly glorify terrorist activities, it's an unusual angle on how fucked up the Vietnam era was, and how this chaos continued into present years, regardless of how the political implications of the RAF make you feel. I would recommend this if you enjoy revolutionary stories, docu-dramas, or action films in general.
(sorry, but the US release trailer wasn't in HD and looked pretty stupid.)
